American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Barrington

Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the ACS Relay For Life movement.

While not every Relay is overnight, most are organized community fundraising walks where teams of people camp
out around a track.  Members of each team take turns walking around the track while food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie.

Kay Bogolin joined the Relay for Life in Barrington in 2011 as a team captain.  In 2013, she served as Co-Chair for the Silent Auction and as a member of the Event Committee.
The Relay for Life in Barrington is #2 in the State of Illinois in terms of helping those in need with cancer…
